I began my creative training as a graphic designer, but then developed my skills as a fine artist further. I completed the BA Fine Arts degree course at Stellenbosch University at the end of 2008. I decided to try my hand at teaching English as a Foreign Language in South Korea for a year. This worked for me as a new career direction and I then completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Stellenbosch University in 2011. I have subsequently been teaching art at The Children's Art Centre in Cape Town since 2012 and completed my tenure there in June 2024.

I have been involved in several projects which came up while teaching at The Children's Art Centre. I have made murals at the school, curated several exhibitions of children's art work and have helped facilitate various workshops and special creative projects.

This website came about as a result of a successful commission produced for a client which then encouraged me to share my creative vision and experience with the world.
